The Chung Wah Society would like to advise that our Chinese New Year Lion Dance blessings and performances will not be going ahead and is unfortunately postponed for the 2022 Chinese New Year period due to the current uncertainty of COVID-19 in the Territory.

This decision was not made lightly but was made with the health, safety and well-being of the community and our members and volunteers as our priority.

Due to the current uncertainty, a decision has not been made on a future date as to when we will be able to carry out the Chinese New Year Lion Dance blessings and performances.

Please note that this does not affect any proposed performances at the upcoming Chinese New Year Festival on Saturday, 26 February 2022.

We hope you understand our decision and apologise for the inconvenience.

We thank everyone for your continued support and we hope to be able to bring the lions to you in the future.
