Chung Wah Society, Northern Territory Australia

Welcome to the Chung Wah Society, a social and sporting club for Darwin’s burgeoning Chinese population.

Our aims are to promote harmony and goodwill between Chinese residents in the NT and people of other nationalities; promote the general, cultural education, social interests and welfare of its members; and provide and maintain the Chinese Temple as a place of worship.

We welcome visitors to explore our culture and history
at the Chinese temple and museum

The Museum aims to encourage greater awareness and understanding of the history of the Chinese in the Territory. It is open to the public and other institutions

The religion practiced at the Temple is a combination of Buddhism,Taoism and Confucianism
